How does Fitbit activity syncing work?
Your Fitbit activities may not be syncing with Fitbit for a variety of reasons. An important thing to note is that all Fitbit wearable devices do not connect directly with the Achievement app. Instead the data is fetched from your Fitbit app and synced to your Achievement account daily.
Once the Fitbit app has been synced with your wearable, Achievement will fetch your activity from your Fitbit so that you can begin receiving points towards a reward.
To ensure your activities sync with Achievement as accurately and fast as possible, we ask that you sync your Fitbit wearable with the Fitbit app once a day and open the Achievement app. Doing this will help ensure that you earn points for all your activities. We will be unable to award points for activities that are over 2 weeks old and have not yet been synced with Achievement.
What can I do to ensure my Fitbit activities sync as quick as possible?
Give your activities 4 - 5 hours to sync:
Fitbit activity data syncing is not immediate, and will sync approximately every 4 -5 hours. If you do not see your activity data immediately, we encourage you to check back again in 24 hours.
Open your Fitbit and Achievement apps:
Data will not sync from your Fitbit wearable to Achievement, only from your Fitbit app to Achievement. If you are missing data on Achievement, double check that your wearable device has successfully synced with your Fitbit app. Once the data has synced with your app, it still may take 4-5 hours for the data to sync with Achievement. Opening your Achievement app will also help in ensuring your activities sync quickly.
Ensure workouts have distance recorded:
You will not receive points if a workout has no distance recorded (ex. treadmill, stationary bike, etc.). If you are unable to record distance, we suggest recording your workout in an app such as MyFitnessPal. We reward 6 points for each recorded workout/exercise.
I’ve tried everything, but my Fitbit activities are still not syncing with Achievement?
In this case, we suggest disconnecting and reconnecting Fitbit from Achievement. Be sure that you are using the correct login information for your Fitbit account when reconnecting the app.
